Hiring the MacMasters Beach Progress Hall
The MacMasters Beach Progress Hall is a small building with a large, covered veranda and is set in a delightful shady reserve.
The short walk across the dune to the beach makes it ideal for small meetings and community group get togethers; children’s birthdays, markets, fundraisers, family reunions, meetings, community sports.
The building can accommodate 20 people inside. The reserve outside can accommodate 80 without needing permission from council for a gathering.

- Two public grassy areas, one shady and the other sunny.
- Direct access to the beach via a track directly opposite.
- Trestle tables and chairs available.
- Kitchen equipped with an urn, fridge, stove, crockery and glasses.
- Wheelchair access.
- Heart Defibrillator (AED).
- Unisex toilet.
- Daylight hours until 8pm (as a courtesy to close neighbours).
- Hirers must join the Progress Association ($10 for one year) to be covered by the Association's insurance while using the hall and reserve area. (Not applicable if you are already a member).
- Alcohol cannot be consumed inside the hall due to insurance coverage
- As the hirer you are responsible for removing your own rubbish and leaving the hall in the condition you found it.
- Full day hire of hall $140
- Hourly hire $25 (minimum of three hours)
- Membership of the Progress Association $10
- Cancellation – The full hire cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled with less than 48 hour’s notice.
