The more members we have, the stronger our voice at Council and State Government.
To join or renew, complete the Membership form below, submit it and make your payment by Bank Transfer (Direct Credit) through your Online Banking portal or Banking App.
Being a Member connects you better with what’s going on in Macs, and gives you a voice in what the Association can do to improve things here.
Membership is only $10 per person per calender year or part of a calender year.
We have FOUR types of membership.
Members: These are real people aged 18 or more who are landholders, residents (including renters) and their family members, associated with a property in MacMasters Beach, who have paid their current subscription and been approved by the Committee. They have full voting rights.
Non-resident members: These are anyone not resident or connected to a property in MacMasters Beach but who wish to particpate in the affairs of the Association and who have paid their current subscription and been approved by the Committee. They can participate in debates at meetings, but cannot vote on any resolutions. The non-voting rule prevents inappropriate participation in voting by external parties such as property developers.
Existing non-resident members: Former residents who have moved away from MacMasters Beach but who wish to maintain contact with the community and the Assocation may renew their membership, with voting rights.
Life Members: Anyone granted life membership of the Association in acordance with its constitution.
Membership does NOT apply to the property itself.
If you are aware of any new neighbours, it would be great if you could encourage them to join, too.
To reduce operating costs, most contact with members will be by email, NOT by post. By including email addresses on this form you are agreeing that the Progress Association will contact you by email, but only for the sole purpose of its affairs, including sending the periodical newsletter.
Contact details will not be provided to any other person or organisation.
Fields on the form marked with an * are mandatory so we have the necssary information. Use this form for up to four members at the same address.
All names listed on this form must be associated with the property detailed on the form.
If the 2nd, 3rd or 4th person applying does NOT provided their email or phone number, then all our contact with that person will be to the contact details provided for the first named person.
